How to Setup a Printer on Challenger 10 via serial
Some legacy installations use Challenger to print directly to a printer or a virtual printer device using a serial interface.
This can be achieved by using the onboard J15 Plug on the Challenger 10 panel.

- Remove all others – set to No

- Depending on requirements, enable what is required. In this case, only enabled:
- Report Alarm Events – Yes
- All the rest are – No
To test on your Windows 7, 8, 10 via terminal I used TeraTerm software (FREE)
Terminal config:
- Bits per second: 9600
- Data bits: 8
- Parity: None
- Stop Bits: 1
- Flow Control: None
