How to Default Challenger Installer Code
Default Tecom Challenger Installer Code
If you need to work on a Challenger security system and do not have access to the installer code you can easily default the installer code.
This method does not affect any of the systems configurations and only resets the installer code.
- Open the main Challenger control panel.
- Locate Test 1 Pins (upper left side of the panel)
- Short Test 1 pins. Use a jumper to do this
- Press Menu on the Keypad
- Remove the jumper on Test pin 1
- Press Enter on the Keypad
- Congratulations you have now reset the installer code to 4346
